Today, Nokia rolled out a pre-release of its eagerly-anticipated N-Gage platform, for those that own their N81 handset. If you own an N81, you can download the N-Gage application, and try (before you buy) selected games. Of course, more handsets will be supported, further down the line. If you wish to use the N-Gage service, users must first download the N-Gage application, allowing you to download games, as well as community features, though, more features will be added in the final version.
The N-Gage blog had this to say about First Access: “It’s a great opportunity to be the first to join the new wave of mobile play. The features available through this pre-release version of the N-Gage application are constantly evolving, so keep in mind that this offering is only the beginning, and our feature set, game catalog and device portfolio will continue to grow in the weeks and months ahead”.
