First pics shot with an iPhone    [ 02-05-2007 15:43 ]

Author: Irina Turina   Source: MobileGuerilla     Translation by: Rytchkova Anja    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

Now you can come across the first pics taken with an Apple iPhone in the web. At least the author claims so. The pictures showed up on Flickr (photo exchange service). Unfortunately they have been removed some time after. We can’t say for sure that these are real iPhone photos, however EXIF data is for it.

Here is the EXIF data from one of the images:

  • Camera: Apple iPhone
  • Aperture: f/2.8
  • Orientation: Rotated 90 degrees clockwise
  • Date and Time: 2007:04:21 10:23:45
  • Color Space: sRGB
  • Tag::EXIF::0xA500: 11/5
  • Compression: JPEG
  • Image Width: 1600 pixels
  • Image Height: 1200 pixels

The rumors suggest the pictures were taken by an Apple employee in a steakhouse in Cupertino. One of the photos is quite clear, it looks better than lots of photos shot with 2-megapixel cameras. The other picture is of poorer quality.
