O2 Germany operator has unveiled its O2 Xda nova communicator. It is based on the HTC Elf platform, which is not yet officially announced. I’d note the announcement denies some data provided as the preliminary info.
The operator positions the communicator as a standard one, not featuring advanced technical opportunities. The Xda nova supports quad band GSM, GPRS and EDGE, and also Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) and Bluetooth 2.0. It is powered by TI OMAP 200 MHz processor, 64 MB RAM and 128 MB flash ROM, compatible with microSD cards. There is a 2.8” display and a 2-megapixel camera.
The communicator is running on Windows Mobile 6 Professional OS. The sales are expected to be launched in June. The device will cost €100 on a 2-years service plan.

The communicator is equipped with a GPS-module, a 2-megapixel camera with auto focus, a frontal VGA-camera for video telephony, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Dimensions are 113.5x60.5x15.8 mm. That’s all for the specs published by E-TEN, so far. The release of the Glofiish X800 is set for 2Q 2007.

Bellperre has announced a series of elite phones. The company claims there are no plastic components inside them, besides the fact hasn’t affected the weight of the models. The plastic is replaced with leather, steel, gold, wood, sapphire and so on.
The company claims its handsets will have the biggest sapphire crystals ever applied in mobile phones. The series introduction is scheduled for today at CeBIT. Let’s wait for details.
