The network got another bunch of spy photos, this time around, the music-heavy LG Trax was caught on camera during the annual midsummer event at Christie's auction house, even though it hasn't been officially announced yet - supposedly AT&T will grab it in July.
As it seems the handset sports GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz connectivity, as well as 3G WCDMA with HSDPA. The Trax comes in housed in clamshell type design and features player controls on the front fascia, on top of that, the LG Trax boasts a 1,3 Mpix camera, microSD-slot and Bluetooth connectivity. The bundled music player deals with MP3, WMA and AAC.

Whizbyte has come up with some more bits of info on the new generation of Microsoft Zune players, reported, as they claim, by a Microsoft employee. By the way, the first Zune sales have gone according to the plan and already exceeded 1 million units. As you might remember, the web has been buzzing about two additions to the Zune range, known as the Scorpio (80 Gb onboard) and the Draco (flash-based), arriving by Christmas.
Like it usually happens, the mysterious Microsoft employee didn't go into considerable detail, but thankfully the hints he gave us can serve as the foundation for some conclusions. That is, the source confirmed that we will actually see new Zunes later this year, specifically differently styled, sized and priced gadgets. He also mentioned that the Zune-branded players will start closing in on iPod in terms of functionality, specifically podcasts support etc, and on top of that, Zune software will get updatable. Also, the software giant is looking to improve support of the players on the global market.

The rumor has it that a new Motorola's handset, codenamed Macro, is in the works. Being a successor to the MOTORIZR Z3 it, supposedly, will retain the same spec sheet - GSM/EDGE connectivity, 2 Mpix camera, the same slider type form-factor, yet with some extra girth.
The major difference from the original model will be Wi-Fi module for wireless connectivity, also it is said the Marco will run on JUIX platform. No Motorola's official confirmation on this as yet, and no word on the release date either - expectedly we will see not earlier than January 2008.
