Samsung Electronics has prepared an inexpensive, but stylish GSM phone for the Latin American market. It’s a folding phone under the Index SGH-C506. Author: Irina Turina   Source: I4U     Translation by: Rytchkova Anja    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

The American operator Sprint is expecting to release a modification of Nokia N800 Internet Tablet PC with WiMax in 2008. In addition the device supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless networks. I’d remind you that Nokia N800 has been announced early this year. It is powered by Linux OS.

Sprint plans to participate in deployment of 4G networks based on WiMax. During 2008 the operator expects to provide such services to over 100 million subscribers. The list of first cities covered with Sprint’s WiMax includes Chicago, Baltimore and Washington in the US. The network should grow to 19 regions during the year.
