According to Reuters Sony is working on a Walkman player supporting video, like Apple iPod. In its time Sony pioneered the market of portable players and currently the company lags behind Apple with the iPod player occupying about the half of the digital media player market.
The company is developing a player, which can work with images, said vice-president of Sony and didn’t unveil more details. I’d remind you that Apple released the video player last October. In November we expect the release of the Zune media players introduced by Microsoft.
