Orange SPV M700: the Trinity with GPS-upgrade    [ 15-11-2006 09:25 ]

Author: Verà Kozlova     Translation by: Rytchkova Anja    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

There appeared an official info that Orange is about to release a communicator based on HTC Trinity platform with GPS-opportunities. I’d remind you that the Trinity was rumored to support GPS, however the first implementation of the platform (HTC P3600) lacked GPS opportunities. The French operator’s branch has published info about its version.

It is called Orange SPV M700 and will have GPS-functionality. According to the info from the French site, Orange SPV M700 is equipped with an integrated GPS-module, which is “not activated” by the manufacturer, and there will be an upgrade in 1Q 2007, so the users can enjoy GPS-opportunities.
