The South Korean company LG Electronics has officially announced the start of sales of its new GSM phone KG810 in Asia, China, Europe and the CIS countries. The phone will come out under the name MG810 in America.

This is a clamshell with similar design traits of the chocolate slider LG KG800. The new phone is 14.6 mm slim and weighs 82 g. It also features Bluetooth interface, an integrated FM-tuner, an MP3-player, external sensor buttons with red backlight.

ASUSTeK Computer has released a PDA-enabled phone P525, which was officially introduced at CeBIT 2006 in March. It is packed in a candy bar form with the digital keyboard, but it is powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 Pocket PC Phone Edition and thus can be controlled with the touchscreen.

The P525 is focused on communication opportunities and positioned as the business model “always connected”. In addition to quad-band GSM and GPRS the device supports Wi-Fi, Push E-mail technologies and Skype-in and Skype-out services for VoIP. There is also Bluetooth interface.

Business functions include business card recognition (you should take a photo of the card with the integrated camera, and the device will convert the info to the Outlook Contacts), MySecret function to prevent from an unauthorized access to some user’s files.
