Kyocera has announced for the Japanese operator AU KDDI its phone supporting music service LISMO (LISTEN MOBILE SERVICE). This is the W42K designed for CDMA 1X WIN networks. The user can enjoy music and analog TV.

Sanyo has released for the Japanese operator AU KDDI a new mobile phone W33SA II supporting both terrestrial digital TV programs and analog TV-programs. The phone also supports FM-broadcasting and digital audio programs. You can use the rotating LCD to watch TV programs or video files from miniSD cards.

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has approved a mobile phone PN-E330 made by the South Korean company Pantech. The model will be sold by Verizon under Nokia’s brand.

The PN-E330 is a CDMA clamshell supporting high-speed data transfer technology CDMA2000 1xEVDO. Other peculiar features of the phone include two color screens, an integrated 1.3-megapixel camera with video capture opportunity, WAP 2.0 browser, navigation services, loud communication and 3D games.

BenQ Mobile has unveiled its new mobile phone – BenQ-Siemens Q-fi EF71. You might have seen a picture of it, when it got IF Design Award this year. This is the first model in the BenQ-Siemens Q-fi series. It is focused on music and has easy access to music functions.

 

The EF71 is a relatively slim clamshell phone packed in aluminum shell. There are special buttons to control music placed on the front panel. Its built-in player supports MP3, AAC and WMA. There is a 10-level equalizer with 3D speakers. The internal memory can be extended with microSD (TransFlash) cards.

The integrated 2-megapixel camera has 9x digital zoom and supports video capture at 30 fps (QCIF resolution). Using night mode you can shoot video in poor light conditions.

 

The new phone will come out in July in Asia and in September in Europe.
