DVB-H receiver by Philips    [ 09-06-2006 15:56 ]

Author: Klimov Oleg   Source: phonedaily.com     Translation by:    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

At the current Computex exhibition Philips has demonstrated quite unusual solution – a DVB-H receiver with SDIO interface, so it became possible to transform almost any device with this slot into a mobile TV-receiver.

Philips TV1000/TV1100 has dimensions slightely larger than an ordinary SD card – 24x39x2.1 mm – some part will be outside the device, you can plug an antenna there for a better signal. There is no excat info on the compatibility, howver they say the receiver worked wel with Dell Axim X50v, HP iPAQ hx2000 series and Qtek 9000.
