[ 05-07-2006 13:51 ]
Author: Verà Kozlova Source: AVING.net Translation by:
The design of LG Chocolate phone seems to become as popular for developers as that of the RAZR phone, which has plenty of clones and devices with similar design elements. LG released its Chocolate in Korea in the end of 2005, and the version for the world market in May 2006, and both versions enjoy high sales.
Soon there will come out first devices by other vendors, which copy the design of the Chocolate. For example, the Korean maker Blue Bird has introduced a handheld computer BM-300 with similar design. This device supports T-DMB services and Wi-Fi (802.11b/g). It is powered by Windows Mobile 5.0 running on Intel PXA270 520 MHz processor.
The BM-300 is equipped with a 2.8” QVGA (240x320 pixels) LCD, 64 MB RAM and 128 MB flash memory, a slot for SD cards and Bluetooth and USB interfaces. There are navigation functions as an option. The release is expected in October.

It would have been very valuable gadget, if it was compatible with advanced camera phones, but alas, the list of compatible phones includes only 6230, 6230i and6680 equipped with VGA and 1.3-megapixel cameras.
To plug the lens you have to replace the battery panel with that from the kit. The price for the Mobile Phone Telescope makes up $19.
