New Nokia S60 smartphones have less buttons
[ 03-07-2006 16:57 ]
Author: Serge Novikov Translation by:
If you dealt with Symbian S60 smartphones, you remember they had Pencil key to edit text and change text modes. Well, Nokia decided to get rid of this key in its future devices considering it useless, and the company revised the software. This fact is confirmed almost official in company’s blog dedicated to S60 devices. The N92 will be the first smartphone without the pencil, see the photo of the model:

Previous functions assigned to it will be rearranged among other keys. For example, # key will change the text input mode and copy/paste functions will be available from Options.
