SysOnChip has announced two new navigation devices Looket G7 and Looket G9. According to the manufacturer, Looket G7 and Looket G9 ensure “optimal mobility” and are essential during car travel, walking and cycle rides.

LG UP3Flat follows the idea of the Shuffle [ 15-12-2006 18:30 ]

LG is about to release its new MP3-player UP3Flat. There are 3 modifications of the player differing in memory size: 512 MB, 1 GB and 2 GB. The new device somewhat resembles LG Chocolate phone: only two silver touch control buttons with red LEDs are on a plain black shell. Besides we can treat it as the follower of the iPod Shuffle player.

PC sync runs via the USB-port, at the same time the USB-connector is sliding. The player is good for 10 hours on a single charge. LG UP3Flat features a voice recorder (64/128 bitrate) and an equalizer (jazz, classic, rock, pop, standard). The player supports MP3, WMA, ASF, OGG. Measuring 75.4x2x9.6 mm it weighs 18.5 g. I’d say the weigh is suspiciously small, however this is the info from the Hong Kong site of LG. There is no info on the price and the release date of LG UP3Flat, so far.

It has become a tradition with Sony Ericsson to release pairs belonging to different or the same lineup, but with similar design and slight distinction in specs. Recently there have appeared photos of the AI (W880) Walkman phone. Now we are likely to see its mate from the CyberShot series with similar design. It is supposed to be called – K770.

Under the preliminary info, the AI is a 3G-phone 9.4 mm thick featuring a 2-megapixel camera, an FM-radio with RDS, Bluetooth and an expansion slot for Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards. Looking at the photo of the K770 we can see that the camera has a 2-megapixel sensor and auto focus.

LG Electronics has recently boasted of a prize awarded for design of its product iF 2007. One of the awarded phones was LG KE850, at that time there was almost no info about it.

At the Norwegian site Mobilen.no emerged photos probably depicting this very phone. It looks really attractive.

The site shared some details based on the photos. The device is the next model in the Chocolate series. It has a 2-megapixel camera and a touchscreen display. Other sources say that its screen features 400x240 pixels and the phone itself is designed for GSM networking. LG KE850 is expected to come out in 1Q 2007.
