The smartphone phenomenon that is Angry Birds has clocked up more than 30 million downloads on the Android platform according to Rovio's head man Peter Vesterbacka.
Angry Birds is undoutedly the most popular smartphone game of the moment, probably ever to be honest, and so the gargantuan download figures shouldn't come as any real surprise. Mr Vesterbacka also noted that those downloading the game tended to keep playing it with around 80% of users coming back to download updates for it.
Angry Birds is soon to arrive on the Windows Phone 7 platform and is already available, as mentioned, on Android as well as iOS and Symbian.

Your choice of browser is a personal matter, some go for looks, others for features and still others on security. On that last point you would be advised to think twice about choosing Apple's Safari browser after it got owned, and seriously owned at that, at the Pwn2Own conference.
Vulpen, a French security research firm, managed to crack Safari in 5 seconds. That's less time than it has taken you to read to this point. Vulpen pointed out that the Safari 5.0.3 update released yesterday does fix some of the vulnerabilities they used, but crucially it does not fix all of them.
Ok so Safari is about as secure as a safe made from wet noodles, but what about the other browsers? Well Internet Explorer predictably fared little better, offering no real challenge to the assembled experts. Firefox on the other hand is actually still holding its own so kudos Mozilla!
A special note concerning Google Chrome. Google issued a challenge promising $20,000 to anyone who could crack Chrome on the first day of the conference. Two teams stepped up to try ... and promptly backed down. Enough said.

Yet another rumour has surfaced concerning the fabled white iPhone. This time, like so many times before, the rumour has it that the white iPhone is just around the corner.
Apple Insider and an analyst from Concord Securities, Ming-Chi Kuo are saying that production on white iPhone 4s is ready to begin this very month. The actual shipment window would begin sometime in early April according to the reports.
Interestingly enough the speculation this time around centres on the GSM version of the iPhone so Verizon customers in the U.S. will remain stuck with the black version for the time being. Although to be blunt does anyone other than the most rabid Apple fanboy even care at this point?
