Motorola Xoom Official - Q1 Launch    [ 06-01-2011 04:58 ]

One of the mostly anticipated product announcements at CES has undoutedly been Motorola's Honeycomb powered tablet, the Motorola Xoom.

The device sports a dual core Tegra 2 running at 1 Ghz with a 10.1 inch screen and 4G connectivity. The device is headed for the American Verizon network although the 4G connectivity won't be available at launch, rather it will come about through an update planned for some time in Q2.

The device also supports 720p video recording, 1080p playback, 1280x800 resolution display, a 5 MP camera and 32 GB of internal storage. With all that going on you will no doubt be wondering about battery life, but it's apparently been rated at 10 hours so not too shabby.
