Rumors are floating around the world web that Palm is to release a new device this year – the Treo 800p, which will be commercially available from Sprint operator in the end of 2007. Reportedly, the info is provided by a reliable source.

The info is quite poor at the moment, the Treo 800p is designed for GSM and CDMA networks and features GPS-navigation capabilities.

Boy Genius Report shared the info about the unsealed sales package of HTC Elf communicator. We’ve provided some preliminary details about the device, the specs list is quite full, though it is based on non-official data.

The source says that HTC Elf is meant for GSM/EDGE (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) networks, it doesn’t mention the 3G support contrary to previous rumors. The device is equipped with a 240x320 pixels LCD, powered by Windows Mobile 6 and comes with TI OMAP850 200 MHz processor, 64 MB RAM, 128 MB flash ROM and a 2-megapixel camera. The release of HTC Elf is expected in June.

We’ve got some new info on Nokia 8600 (Luna) handset. According to the earlier rumors, this is an elite Series 40 handset working in GPRS/EDGE networks.

This time the source provides that the official release of Nokia 8600 Luna will take place on May 25, and the device will be in shops of Carphone Warehouse, a large European cell phone retailer, within 6 weeks afterwards.
