iPhone rumours gathered pace today with a blog called 'Apple iPhone Apps' claiming that an Apple insider had given them information, specifically the specs and release date, of the rumoured new iPhone. The specs the source allegedly outlined aren't mind blowing, but they are consistent with previous rumours and speculation. If these specs turn out to be true then it would mark more of an incremental upgrade for the iPhone rather than a revolutionary leap forward, at least in terms of hardware. The camera in particular would appear to be taking little more than a baby step if it moves from 2 MP to 3.2 MP in a market where the high-end standard is now 8 MP. As for a release date the source claimed that the new iPhone would be released on 17th July, again a very plausible sounding piece of information.
