It's alleged that both ASUS and Acer - the latter who has recently announced a few new smartphones, are both looking to implement Google's Android OS in some of their future mobile phones. Asus, who have just unveiled two handsets, in partnership with GPS maker, Garmin - one running on Linux, and the other on Windows Mobile, are apparently looking to release their Android-based handset(s), by the end of the first half of this year - meaning June, at the very latest. Acer, meanwhile, are set to release two handsets, running on Android, by the year's end.
