Who says that a recssion is no time to splurge on non-essentials? Orange certainly don't seem to be saying that as they launch a new 'Relaxation Line'. Essentially you phone up and are treated to relaxing noises e.g. bird song, the sea, etc. Daft? A waste of time? Well why not give a try before passing judgement, it's free to Orange customers if they dial 347. Check out the video of it in action.

N900 On Sale from Boxing Day in UK    [ 17-12-2009 17:50 ]

It's already been widely reported that Vodafone are going to sell the N900 in the UK, but now we have a date to put to that ... 7th January 2010. However, if you simply can't wait until next year to lay your hand son one then Carphone Warehouse are set to begin N900 sales on Boxing Day! What availability there will be on Boxing Day is anyone's guess although the word 'limited' springs to mind. In terms of pricing the N900 will be free on a 2 year £35/month contract, hopefully including some sort of data bundle. Interestingly a January launch for the N900 on Vodafone is the same time that Vodafone will be launching the iPhone, how the two will impact one another will be interesting to watch.
