Nokia have now released their N96 handset, seven months after it was announced. Essentially, it's an N95 with 16GB internal memory, different design, and the addition of a DVB-H digital TV tuner. Further more, you can expand the internal memory even further, with the addition of a MicroSD card slot, currently, 8GB caeds are availabe, but 16GB cards can't be that far off. It will be pricedat €550, without taxes or subsidies.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs said he hoped that Apple's iPhone would sell around ten million units, by year's end. And, it looks like what he said could become true. Apparently, 3G iPhone's alone have sold just above five and a half million, since becoming available from July 11th, in twenty two countries, of course it's available in more countries now. As for the origial iPhone, which is no longer available, that sold around 2.4 million, until it was discontinued around launch time of the 3G version.

Sony Ericsson have released the SDK for their upcoming Windows Mobile-powered X1 handset. The SDK, as the name implies - Software Development Kit, allows users to specially develop software forthe X1, which, Sony Ericsson claim is to be released by the end of the year at the latest. The SDK allows users to develop a varety of panels for the X1. The panels allow quick access to a variety of things - games, images, e-mail, and so forth.
