ACCESS has introduced a new logo “ACCESS Powered” and announced it renamed Palm OS into Garnet OS. “ACCESS Powered” logo will replace “Palm Powered” and be used with the products by ACCESS and PalmSource, which has not long ago became ACESS Systems Americas.
I’d remind you that last October ACCESS reported its subsidiary PalmSource initiated the rename to ACCESS. Now under this process and the agreement with Palm (the company got rights of PalmSource in Palm Trademark Holding Company) ACCESS is renaming all the products, which had the names with “Palm”. The first one to be renamed turned Palm OS, which transformed to Garnet OS.
Thus ACCESS and PalmSource keep on the integration process with changing “Palm Powered” logo and the name of the operating system, says the company.
