JetFlash 210: a USB flash drive with the fingerprints scanner    [ 16-06-2006 13:56 ]

Author: Verà Kozlova     Translation by:    Send news to friend  Discuss in forum

Transcend Information has released another USB flash drive called JetFlash 210. It is meant for those who care much about data protection – in addition to password function the drive is equipped with a fingerprints scanner to identify the user.

JetFlash 210 is parted into two logical disks – general and protected. It’s possible to distribute the memory space between two disks as you like. There is a nice moment – the flash drive automatically remembers the ID info on sites with registration, so you don’t have to enter login and password at the next visit to the site, identification process will run automatically. There is USB 2.0 interface for PC connection. JetFlash 210 is available in two modifications – with 1 and 2 GB onboard.
