Lenovo is known as the maker of mobile phones and communicators on its domestic market. The company’s product line has got a new communicator – the i921, which is likely to be powered by Windows Mobile 5.0.

There is little detail on the new model: a QVGA LCD, GSM networking, a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth interface, an expansion slot for miniSD cards, 103.3x50.8x21.4 mm and 123 g.

BenQ makes a return to the MP3-player market in Taiwan    [ 08-04-2006 16:42 ]

In the end of 200 BenQ made its decision to suspend the sales of its Joybee MP3-playersin Taiwan and focus on China because of strengthening competition in this segment.

However the leaders of the company changed this decision in order to make a return to the Taiwanese market – at the moment the company is preparing 3 HDD MP3-players for the internal market. In addition the demand for these devices can be partially covered by new MP3 mobile phones under BenQ-Siemens brand.

Due to these measures BenQ expects to expand its presence on the Taiwanese MP3-player market from current 3% to 10% by the end of the year.
